The client chose rubber due to the seamless, exceptionally low-maintenance performance of the system, and their frustration with the cracks throughout their previous deck. This particular wrapped coping project, where the deck is the same color as the coping and the coping is fully wrapped, is the most difficult technique done in rubber surfacing – balancing difficult timing constraints with this fast-set material and the artistry needed to form these edges.
